Unknown Dialogue – 2024
Animation projected on wall, oil marker on black fabric, book. Exploring humanity in dialogue with AI.
Proposing AI as a way to expand our perception to a non-human perspective, in which we get to see a picture bigger than our own self-centred view. To me, it is fascinating how this human invention places us in this broader context, almost like our tribal connection to the natural world. Yet this time we experience it through the unexpected path of technological development. In the installation I play with this almost spiritual context and I invite people to share their thoughts in this continuing dialogue.

Resonance – 2012
Installation: plaster, wood, projections reacting to sound.
This installation is based on the principles of sound and vibrations. The plaster pieces were shaped through the use of different frequencies: 66Hz, 71Hz, 32Hz and 50Hz. Usually, these invisible frequencies are only perceived in motion, for example in Chladni patterns. By using plaster, the frequencies materialised in concrete form, creating unique structures. The spectrogram visualises the frequencies of environmental sounds, while it highlights the four unique landscapes.
What Does the Ground Have to Say? (Decenter to Center) – 2015
Installation: ink drawings, styrofoam, tile glue, flour, sawdust, engine, wood.
Inviting the viewer to feel grounding in a world which is constantly moving. Decenter to center is a way to zoom out and see a non-human perspective, thereby finding a new relationship to our environment.
The Thoughts in Your Head – 2015
Pencil and marker on paper, 3D glasses.
Seen through 3D glasses, this work mixes two different layers in one image. Shaping a new reality, as we try to form a coherent image integrating the two opposites.
